In this the final episode in our series we address the issue of how to smoke a cigar. We’ve previously covered choosing a cigar, cutting and lighting a cigar. So, do you inhale?
While some light inhalation may take place a fine cigar is smoked for its flavor and not for a nicotine hit. Cigarette smokers, who also smoke cigars, sometimes find the non-inhalation more of an issue than cigar afficionados who only smoke and enjoy good quality cigars.
Your cigar needs to burn evenly and gently so draw on it gently and take a light puff no more than once a minute. Check the end occasionaly to check that it is burning evenly, if not get your lighting implement of choice to fix that. A cigar smoked too quickly is an abberation so take your time, relax and enjoy.
