Who rules the www.waves?

Well we’re going to have pull up our socks here at BB Central as what’s soon to be the SECOND :-) most popular site for Butlers went ‘live’ earlier today.

The International Institute of Modern Butlers www.modernbutlers.com is now officially ‘online’ in its new revamped look and the look is great !

More important though is the content. At last - AT LAST! - here’s an Institution that addresses what’s always been my ‘bugbear’ re Butler Schools - and the answer is Internship.

Plus the I.I.M.B. offers an alternative to the pricey Butler Schools option for someone wanting to break into the industry. Chairman Steven Ferry is the author of the 2 books that have become to ‘must have’ references for Domestic Staff Butlers: Butlers & Household Managers - 21st Century Professionals and, for Butlers working in the Hospitality Industry : Hotel Butlers - The Great Service Differentiators.

Why are we so welcoming to the new Modern Butlers site. Well apart from all of the above we also designed and built it for Steven and his I.I.M.B. members. (Makes sense to ask the most popular Domestic Staff site on the web for help in re-designing yours right?). For the last 2 months we’ve been e-mailing and ‘Skype-ing’ each other to get it right

So go and check it out (the site is massive as Steven is a prodigious writer of industry related articles).

Now about that ’sock-pulling-up’ exercise - we’re going to get right on it (if we can find a matching pair) !!!
